We saw it and loved it…
The story of A kisház began with a run, when we saw it at the top of one of the steepest streets in Csókakő, FOR SALE.
A kisház
The little house, the yard, and the surroundings captivated us. It was decided that we would realize our old dream here. We are creating a rest house for guests who love the forest, the hiking, active in sports, and who want to relax and unwind. In the fabulous environment the forest is within arm's reach, but its panoramic garden also offers the opportunity to enjoy the landscape and relax in a peaceful way that recharges body and soul. We are deeply committed to protecting nature and we try to represent this in A kisház. The large rainwater collection tank in the garden was also designed in this spirit, which we try to use in many ways. The selective waste collectors in the kitchen, the paper towels and toilet paper made from recycled paper, and the environmentally friendly cleaning products were all included in A kisház with this in mind.

Upon entering the door, a clean, natural, simple, yet modern space welcomes the guest. The team of Mécs Eszter Home&Art helped us with the atmosphere and interior design of the house. They designed the interior of A kisház by incorporating our ideas and their own tastes. The colors, shapes, and decorations are all the results of a joint effort. The design was followed by the implementation, where precise, accurate, and aesthetic execution was very important for us, so we tried to work with the best professionals. A kisház is overall the result of the work of professionals and our small family, which makes it even more kind to us.
Introducing ourselves
It is important for us that the guest who comes to us not only gets an idea of A Kisház, but also get to know us, who are waiting for You, so please allow us to briefly introduce ourselves!

Tamás, the host
An IT engineer and there is no question anymore that he is a horticultural engineer as well. 😊 His passion is running, but likes to ride and swim. Solves everything around the house.
The exterior painting of A kisház and the interior plastering are also the work of his hands. We are trying to move towards a life as self-sufficient as possible, which is why we started organic gardening last year. We are confident that our plans also include the fact that in time the guests of A kisház will also be able to benefit from our chemical-free garden treasures.

Judit, the other host :)
Special education teacher and now also a baking and confectionery expert! :)
Her passion is making homemade strudel and baked goods made with wild sourdough. You'll find her delicacies among the services of A kisház! She also loves running, cycling, doing yoga, and taking care-free walks in the forest, recharged by the plants.
Barnabás and Bence, the "little" hosts
Barni's passion is transportation, but you can meet him walking or even running in the forest, he is excellent at navigating in the forest environment. He took the photos of A kisház and hiking trails recommended on the website are also from him.
Bence, who is a big football fan, member of the Mór U13 football team as a goalkeeper, and is a great lover of technical cycling.

This is us, and now it's your turn! Be our guests!
We are waiting with love!
